EOS has developed FDR (Fine Detail Resolution) technology for its polymer systems to enhance customers’ ability to 3D print parts with fine details. Fabian Krauss, Head of Polymer Systems at EOS, explains how their new machine, the FORMIGA P 110 FDR, uses a CO laser with a focus diameter twice as small as existing Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technologies, and what that means for printing fine surfaces.
