SPEE3D uses a process called cold spray to spray metal powders at supersonic speeds towards a substrate such that they don’t melt, but instead plastically deform. Chief Sales Officer Paul Maloney explains that this solid-state deposition means that the process can be operated at room temperature, using low cost powders and only very simple infrastructure. SPEE3D has exploited these features of cold spray and had a lot of success deploying the WarpSPEE3D system into remote locations.
