Even with 283 first-time attendees, we maintained the open, collaborative and supportive environment that the AMUG Conference is known for. I’m looking forward to working with this board to develop new ideas and create an even more successful 2015 conference.”
The new board’s primary responsibilities will involve building the program for the 2015 conference and overseeing the event’s day-to-day activities. The venue for the upcoming users group conference will be the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. The five-day event will include a two-night exhibitor expo, hands-on workshops, instructional sessions, technical presentations and an Awards Banquet gala.
“We are expecting significant growth for next year’s conference, and the Hyatt Jacksonville can certainly accommodate the anticipated numbers,” said Thomas Sorovetz, event manager. “We held our 2013 conference at this facility, and everyone enjoyed it and the Jacksonville attractions.”
