Nanoscribe is Winner of World Technology Award 2015

  • 3D printer for microfabrication has been honored for its disruptive potential

January 21, 2016 – Eggenstein-Leopoldshafen Nanoscribe is very honored to have been named a World Technology Award recipient by the World Technology Network (“The WTN”) in New York (NY, USA) at the end of 2015. The manufacturer of the world’s highest precision 3D printer has been selected for its outstanding achievements in the category “Materials.” Martin

Hermatschweiler (37), CEO of Nanoscribe, said: “Winning the WTN Award and thus prevailing against 3D Systems and Stratasys as candidates emphasizes the strength and importance of the relatively young technology of two-photon polymerization. Based on this disruptive technology, our Photonic Professional GT printers allow the fabrication of structures hundredfold more precise than other technologies.” This capability in 3D microfabrication opens up a multitude of new applications in industry as well as fascinating new science. After Prism Award 2014, the WTN Award 2015 is further recognition of Nanoscribe’s groundbreaking technological developments.
