RAYLASE Will Present Products and a Wealth of Experts On-site to the Additive Manufacturing Industry at formnext 2019 in Frankfurt


From 19 to 22 November 2019, RAYLASE will present its latest products and the solutions that can be realised with these in the field of additive manufacturing at the formnext trade fair in Frankfurt. RAYLASE will be represented at Stand D59 in Hall 11. “This year once again, formnext represents a highlight in our calendar of events at RAYLASE”, says Dr Philipp Schön, CEO of RAYLASE. “Additive manufacturing is one of the most important applications in laser material processing. Our products and solutions offer significant technological innovations for this emerging market”.

Visitors to the RAYLASE stand at formnext 2019 will have an opportunity to receive information about products and solutions directly from the experts in our company. “But our offering is also much broader. After all, it’s topics like AM series production and industrial applications that are driving the sector. And we’ve something to offer there too”, adds Dr Schön.

For all these reasons, RAYLASE and our specially selected team of experts are really looking forward to presenting innovative solutions for additive manufacturing in Frankfurt. The following highlights are in store for industry experts attending formnext 2019:

PREMIERE: AXIALSCAN FIBER-20 for Additive Manufacturing
The AXIALSCAN FIBER-20, with its pre-focusing feature, is ideal for boosting the productivity of modern AM powder bed machines Thanks to its ability to form a quadruple design set up, this deflection unit can increase efficiency 4-fold across the process field. The units are optimised for seamless integration and reliable operation, in particular in powder bed machines (SLM). Process monitoring is also integrated, so that the quality of the AM process can be checked at any time.

ULTRADYNAMIC AM SOLUTION: AM-MODULE NEXT GEN
The AM-MODULE NEXT GEN for fibre-coupled lasers boasts homogeneous power density and exceptionally low drift values. It enables ultradynamic, rapid processing with flexible spot diameters and is available in 2 variants – as a Standard-Module or as a High-Performance-Module with fully digital galvanometer scanners. The AM-MODULE NEXT GEN is designed for use in the manufacture of ultra-high precision components that must satisfy particularly high safety specifications. This version is of particular interest for users in the aerospace industry, automotive manufacturing and medical engineering.

SMALL AND POWERFUL: MINISCAN III-20
Common applications for the MINISCAN III-20 deflection unit include, in particular, challenging marking tasks or the filling of surfaces in additive manufacturing, where dynamic responses are essential. Speed and dynamic responses are guaranteed, thanks to digital control and powerful PWM output stages.
