The focus is on the new generation of the additive manufacturing systems.

According to the motto “From Ideas to Series Production,” the additive manufacturing systems of SLM Solutions encompass the entire process chain of parts and prototype production in selective laser melting. Since the last EuroMold, SLM Solutions has made numerous developments and improvements to their three flagship systems to further promote the potential of this technology.
Total efficiency and performance of the systems have improved. Quad-lasers and a unique double laser beam technology increases up to 80% higher volume construction rate. Furthermore, the step to production technology was paved. With an unpacking unit, the operator is able to transport the finished build cylinder out of the system. The cooling process takes place in the unpacking unit, so that the next building process can begin immediately. Additionally, the open system architecture and parameters enables the user to customize and supply individual construction processes. Developments on the SLM®280HL can be transferred for the production to other machines of the series SLM®280HL and SLM®500HL.
