EBAM 2016, Nuremberg, Germany
The 1st International Conference on Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing EBAM 2016 organized by the Chair of Metals Science and Technology (WTM) and the Cluster of Excellence of Advanced Materials (EAM), both institutions of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, will take place in Nuremberg, Germany.
The conference aims to discuss specific challenges and opportunities offered by the electron beam. It is thought to bring together researchers and industrial users to accomplish improvements in this technology. The conference will include topics on powder manufacturing and recovery, process observation and control, processing and properties of all kind of metallic or intermetallic alloys, and secondary and finishing operations as well as modelling and simulation. www.eam.fau.de/ebam2016
