A stronger industry dialog
As a member of the Aachen Center for Additive Manufacturing (ACAM), formnext is supporting the ongoing growth of the center’s surrounding community. The goal? Promoting industry-relevant research and further strengthening the sharing of ideas among the drivers of innovation in the market.
“Our cooperation with ACAM will give us a head start on the latest trends and developments,” explains Sascha F. Wenzler, Head of Division for formnext at conference organizer Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH. “That in turn will enable us to align our exhibition concept accordingly and continue to fine-tune our future events.”
Support for leading tool-making competition
The Excellence in Production competition has been recognizing the best tool-making companies in the German-speaking countries for 13 years. With this year’s award ceremony set to take place on 26 October, no fewer than 279 companies have entered to win the event’s prestigious accolades. As an Excellence in Production sponsor, formnext contributes to the competition to emphasize the central role industrial tool making plays in modern product development.
ACAM managing director Dr. Kristian Arntz sees formnext’s involvement as a real boon for his organization, as well:“For us, formnext represents the ideal partner. It has already established itself as a highly valuable international platform and an opportunity for us to engage in ongoing dialog with our industry,” Dr. Arntz reveals. “This means we can keep our ear even closer to the ground and continue to make great strides in our research.”
