Novi, MI—March 1, 2017 – Today, EOS, the global technology and quality leader for high-end 3D printing (Additive Manufacturing or AM) solutions, announced that Gregory Hayes has joined the company as Director of North America Applications and Consulting for EOS North America. Greg is responsible for leading the new Additive Minds consultancy group for North America, which partners with companies to increase their competitive edge defining and developing AM applications.
As a strategic technology development consultant with deep expertise in high-end R&D, Greg has worked internationally across the health IT, high-tech and aerospace industries. Most recently, Greg co-founded Complex Materials, a bespoke bioresorbable materials company with a focus on magnesium alloy stent tubing. He also served on the JuntoHealth advisory board. Prior to that, Greg was a program manager and director of new partnerships for AM at TNO where he managed research programs as well as funding and partner acquisition. Greg holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Pennsylvania State University, and Start-up and Entrepreneurship certification from the Vlerick Business School in Belgium. He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering with distinction from the University of Delaware.
