29 August, 2017: Runcorn, UK: The market leader in the development, processing and supply of high quality metal powders for the Additive Manufacturing (AM) industry, LPW Technology views AM from the perspective of the powder. At this year’s TCT Show at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, it will be highlighting its extensive range of fully optimised and characterised powders at Hall 3 Stand E42, and demonstrating its innovative end-to-end solutions for AM.
LPW has an action-packed schedule at the TCT Show, showcasing its products and sharing its experience in additive manufacturing. Experienced PowderRange engineers will be on hand at the stand to discuss how LPW’s AM-specific metal powders and PowderLife products and services add confidence and traceability to the AM process.
There will be demonstrations of LPW’s powerful AM software system, PowderSolve, which tracks powder history through different batches and blends, and repeated uses, adding traceability not only of the powder but also user actions, machine specifics, and built parts. LPW is delighted that PowderSolve has been shortlisted in the ‘Technology Innovation – Software’ category of the new TCT Awards 2017.
PowderTrace, the smart hopper that can monitor powder’s environmental conditions, will also be displayed, demonstrating how integration of data can be achieved throughout the AM process.
LPW’s team of AM experts is also in demand at the TCT Show. On the Tech Stage in the afternoon of day one, Dr Nicola Jones, LPW’s Marketing Manager, will join the Women in 3D Printing panel discussing materials in 3D printing, and will participate in the networking session afterwards.
On day two, Nick Weeks, LPW’s Technical Director, will explore how the intelligent use of digital technologies is advancing AM in his presentation ‘The future of Complete AM Digital integration: from powder manufacture to applications data capture’ on the TCT stage at 15:10.
