ChemCubed
ChemCubed engineers and produces high performance formulations for additive manufacturing (3D printing and Printed Electronics). The team of technical and marketing professionals utilize their 25 years of experience in the printing materials industry to focus on end-use applications that have yielded the successful commercial portfolio to date. ChemCubed works with OEM printer manufacturers as well as the product manufacturing companies that require performance of materials beyond what has been traditionally available. Formulations are optimized for specific printing technologies and functional properties of the end-use application while qualifying for the process capability of an advanced manufacturing concept. ChemCubed addresses the expanding needs of the Printed Electronics market with their ElectroJet brand solutions. As the new technology is rapidly adopted, the high-performance demands are met with the combined materials, printer technology and process solutions of the ElectroJet brand. ChemCubed’s Silver Conductive Ink offers best-in-class conductive performance, at near bulk of silver and the lowest sintering temperature, as low as 80 degrees Celsius. A particle-free based formulation enables long-term jetting reliability mitigating the issues of clogged heads. It is compatible with their proprietary brand ElectroUV3D printer as well as other industrial OEM brand deposition technologies including piezo inkjet, aerosol jet, spray coating and spin coating.
ChemCubed’s Dielectric Insulating Ink is fully compatible with silver inks for optimized adhesion, print resolution and insulation between conductive trace layers. The UV curable technology is suitable for building 3D printed structures. It is compatible with ElectroJet brand printers and other UV LED inkjet technologies.
ElectroJet brand ElectroUV3D flatbed inkjet printer digitally prints both silver conductive inks and UV curable dielectric insulating inks. It offers inline LED UV curing of dielectric insulating inks and inline heat sintering of silver conductive ink. The 1440 dpi resolution, 8-channel inkjet head enables simultaneous multi-material /multilayer printing of electric circuits and components. A full turn-key startup package is now available in a bundle that includes maintenance supplies, startup inks, installation, and training.
NanoCubed brand resins for Exponential Performance in 3D printing are an assortment of formulation foundations that are customized to the specific application. ChemCubed offers custom material developments for SLA/DLP and Jet printing technologies of open-source platforms and brands. The NanoCubed materials are designed for the mechanical, physical, and chemical requirements of the end-use application with full range capabilities for environmental considerations (FDA compliance for example).
ChemCubed’s expanding staff of research scientists and engineers specialize in nanocomposites, fluid dynamics and printing technologies. Beyond high performing materials, they are focused on process capabilities and continuous improvement related to the technology offerings. They are committed to end-user engagement to fully understand the complete process from proof-of-concept all the way to full scale sustainable production.
