InkBit
Inkbit creates a new manufacturing process called Vision-Controlled Jetting (VCJ). In this process, inkjet-based deposition is used to deposit successive layers of 3D printed objects and the deposition of each layer is controlled by 3D scanning of the print bed. This non-contact process allows for a much wider range of resins that are catalytically cured (e.g., that do not rely of radical photopolymerization). VCJ also allows 100% quality assurance, compensation of systematic errors such as material shrinkage, and manufacturing of multi-material parts.
