- XJet’s Carmel AM Production System, a unique platform for metal and ceramic 3D printing, comes to North America for the first time
Rehovot, Israel – March 9, 2018 – XJet Ltd., the additive manufacturing company, announces its participation at two leading additive manufacturing industry events – the AMUG Conference (8-12 April, St. Louis, Missouri) and RAPID + TCT (24-26 April, Fort Worth, Texas) – as part of a larger US tour this Spring.
“XJet’s participation at these internationally renowned events forms an important part of our expansion plans and underpins our commitment to the North American market,” states XJet CBO Dror Danai. “It’s an exciting time. When we attended these events previously it was all about demonstrating our technology and planning for the future. Now we’ve launched the Carmel AM Production System and installed a system at Youngstown Business Incubator in collaboration with America Makes – it’s all about the possibilities XJet brings to the market now.”

Danai will present at this year’s AMUG Conference on XJet’s momentum in the market and how NanoParticle Jetting™ (NPJ) is set to transform the metal and ceramic AM industries. The presentation, entitled ‘Powder free ceramic & metal AM’, is on Monday, 9th April at 2pm CT. Delegates can also network with members of the XJet management team, including XJet Founder and CEO Hanan Gotheit, at the conference to learn about market opportunities, the first adopters of the Carmel production systems and what makes NPJ technology unique (please note XJet will attend AMUG from 8-9th April).
At RAPID + TCT, the Carmel 1400 production system will make its North American debut. Alongside 3D printed parts showcasing varied materials, applications and industries, visitors can experience the technology with a new, unseen format (stand 1604, hall D). XJet technical experts will be on-hand throughout the show to discuss how XJet’s NanoParticle Jetting technology can solve manufacturing problems and deliver exclusive benefits unmatched by other technologies.
The Carmel AM system was launched to great industry acclaim at formnext in Europe last November. Printing ultrafine layers of NanoParticle ‘inks’ (dispersion), manufacturers are able to produce metal and ceramic parts with the ease and versatility of inkjet printing. Parts produced on the Carmel AM Production System enjoy superfine details as small as 100 microns, smooth surfaces and high accuracy. With a build tray size up to 11 x 19.7 inches and a maximum build height of 7.9 inches, the ground-breaking platform offers operational advantages as it is productive, efficient, safe and simple to use.
“XJet is absolutely committed to the continual advancement of Additive Manufacturing technologies,” adds Danai, “as such we’re proud to be participating in the prestigious events of AMUG and RAPID + TCT. Our US tour will also include an exhibition at Ceramics Expo and a visit to YBI, so if you’re nearby make sure you come and see us!”
See XJet at AMUG conference from 8-9 April and at RAPID + TCT 2018 from 10-13 April in Hall D, stand 1604, meetings with the team can be pre-booked via the XJet website.
