Waterloo, ON, Canada – The registration is open for HI-AM 2019, the only academic conference in Canada focused exclusively on metal additive manufacturing. The conference will be held June 26-27, 2019 at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC. The early registration deadline is May 24, 2019.
The focus of HI-AM Conference is to provide a platform for the presentation of recent R&D advancements in the field of metal additive manufacturing under 4 research themes: (1) material development, (2) advanced process modeling, (3) process monitoring and control, (4) innovative AM processes/products.
The conference will feature more than 90 presentations. Keynote speakers include Prof. David Bourell, the University of Texas at Austin, United States; Prof. Christoph Leyens, Fraunhofer IWS, Germany; Prof. Milan Brandt, RMIT, Australia; Dr. Ali Bonakdar, Siemens, Canada; and Dr. Hannes Gostner, EOS, Germany.
Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) is the lead supporter of this event.
