    Additive manufacturing materials are often the driver for new applications including production applications. In 2022, the AM community introductions of new materials for electronics, tissue fabrication, corrosive environments, consumer products, sporting equipment, and more. Looking to both repeatable quality results toward achieving production with AM, several materials were qualified or certified on 3D printers. Take a look at the 2022 materials development.

    Formlabs Enters 2022 With New 3D Printers and Resins:  Formlabs announced ESD Resin, the company’s first static-dissipative material, developed for applications that require ESD-safe parts to protect objects and electronics sensitive to unregulated static discharge.  READ MORE

    Carbon Unveils New Flame-Retardant Resin as Part of Its Idea-to-Production Platform: Carbon introduced EPX 86FR, a flame retardant photopolymer resin that uses Carbon’s patented dual-cure process. READ MORE
