    Noah J. Mostow

    Founder of Visualize Manufacturing, Noah is taking his experience in AM to help grow the manufacturing workforce. He started his career in AM as a technician on industrial 3D printers at Burton Snowboards and has since moved to Colorado where he was a Biomedical Engineer at 3D Systems – Healthcare. Most recently, Noah was the manager of market intelligence and analytics at Wohlers Associates, powered by ASTM International. He was a principal author for both Wohlers Report 2021 and 2022 and has presented internationally.

    Noah earned his bachelor’s of science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont and his master’s of science in Advanced Manufacturing from the Colorado School of Mines in 2020.

    Noah is working to promote manufacturing as a job opportunity and career path for everyone by listening, learning, and advancing the conversation around an ever-growing industry.

    Growing the Additive Manufacturing Workforce 

    The additive manufacturing (AM) industry is growing rapidly, yet the industry is facing a global shortage of workers. The 2022 AM Salary Survey Report by Alexander Daniels Global estimated that in 2021, the AM sector had 8,261 job openings in the US. Manufacturing requires people, regardless of a company’s size, industry, or adoption of advanced technologies like robots, automation, and artificial intelligence.
